Rhubarb Apple Crumble
Ingredients: (in a big baking tray)
5 big stalk of rhubarb
2 kg of soft apples
300g flour
100g sugar
300g butter
Chop all the rhubard and apples into small pieces and spread them out in the baking tray. Preheat oven. Mix the flour together wit sugar in a bowl and rub in butter with your fingers till it's buttery everywhere. This may take a couple of minutes, it's important to take your time with it as this is the only way the crumble is perfect and not floury.
Spread the crumbles over the apple/rhubarb mix and bake it till golden brown. (20-30 minutes)
Serve with hot cardamomy vanilla custard or double cream.
