Kata's Shepherd's Pie
This is a classic british dish, which was prepared vegetarian and Kata has added sauerkraut to make it special. It was very delicious!
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes
1 bunch of sage - could be any other green herb (oregano, majorjam, rosemary...
1 jar of sauerkraut
salt and pepper
little bit of cheese
Cook potatoes in salted water and peel afterwards. Sprinkle in the green herbs you have chosen and mash it well. I would add a bit of butter to make it creamy. Cook the brown lentils as well. Once it's cooked, transfer and spread around the bottom in a baking tray. Spread the sauerkraut next and lastly the mashed potatoes evenly. Finally, sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake in the oven until cheese is melted and golden brown. Enjoy!
